Enterprise-Wide Product Transformation Consulting

Situation: An internal IT Executive, approached my team to support the adoption of industry-standard product management practices across a large manufacturing company. In addition to a new website, our team was tasked with assisting the Agile Product Lifecycle (APLC) team with new product maturity training and consulting. While the APLC would tackle the “business” side of IT products, our team would handle the identity and communications consulting. 

Approach: We took notes from our workshops, and adapted it to work with the documentation and training already created. Instead of whiteboarding activities, we created video content and helpful guides for the APLC team to use in their training sessions. We also partnered as planned consultants for these sessions. 

Result: The APLC team was equipped to teach other teams how to best talk about their business models. 

Outcome: Unknown – unfortunately our team was disbanded, and my time with the company ended before the mass launch of the training program. The little information I do have shows it helped IT product teams, but I honestly do not know how much.
